My final-year thesis (gymnasiearbete) investigates how infill density and print speed affect the tensile strength of FDM-printed PLA parts, tested against ISO 527.

Methodology
Testing will adhere to ISO 527-1 and take place at Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE). Specimen conform to ISO 527-2 Type 1A, likewise there will be 5 duplicates of each specific specimen in accordance with ISO 527-1.
The chosen variables and their values are:

That results in 9 combinations across 5 specimen of each combination, resulting in a total of 45 specimen.
Specimen will be printed on a Prusa Core One+, with Prusament Galaxy Black PLA, with preprocessing consisting of a visual inspection of filament roll and drying for 6 hours at 53 ℃ with a maximum rH% of 20%.
